Hello

I just tried to upgrade odac670d12pro to above version.
I get the message:

Detected installed DAC packages which are incompatible with
current version. Please uninstall DAC products.
Hmm, I did not manually install any DAC product but I have
visual studion 2008 latest version on the same XP prof. machine.

If I reinstall odac670d12pro I get no error.

Can you give me a clue how I could find out which packages
interfere with the latest odac version?

Try to uninstall ODAC 6.70 before installing ODAC 6.80.
If you have no other DACs installed but still get this message, run the ODAC installation with the /force key:

odac680d12pro.exe /force

This did it.
