Working with Oracle object fields in Direct mode

ODAC v6.70.0.43
Delphi 2009
Oracle 9i

ODACdemo demonstrates working with Oracle object fields.
In Direct mode these demo didn’t working.
Why? Can you correct it?

The Direct mode does not support OBJECT data type.
