ODAC support for OVD or OID

Hi

We use ODAC with standard oracle clients or instant clients. One of our clients asks if ODAC supports the two Oracle-supported methods being OVD or OID. They'll be using OVD, which is simply an LDAP broker in front of one or more LDAP services (AD, eDirectory, OpenLDAP etc). They are not reverting to using a thick-client method such as TNSNAMES.ORA or Instant Client as these methods are not scalable solutions.

So the main question is : can I connect to Oracle with ODAC via OVD or OID?

You can use any connect method that Oracle client supports with ODAC.
