ODAC 6.00.0.5: OraQuery Editor in BCB6 always hangs with Access Violation

Post by tuasal » Fri 13 Apr 2007 05:10

In C++Builder 6 attempt to write down changes in OraQuery Editor (by pressing the button ' Ok ') absolutely always comes to an end with the error message 'Access Violation'.

ps. In version ODAC 5.x such did not occur.

We couldn't reproduce this problem. Please specify the following information:
1. More detailed detailed description of the steps to reproduce the problem.
2. Whether you have several DAC products installed.

In Delphi 7 also, lways comes to an end with the error message 'Access Violation' in Odac70.bpl.

I found the error

I discovered where it is the error. It occurs when he has fields added in the Fields Editor. If to exclude the fields the error does not occur.

flls, thank you for assistance. We have reproduced and fixed this problem. This fix will be included in the next build of ODAC.
