Diff does not work with VS2017 and Mercurial repo

Post by olegasg » Wed 18 Oct 2017 07:02

I cannot make compare work when I double click on some file in the change list. The other side is empty telling "no file". We are considering extending our license but this issue stops now.

Tried both VS2017 15.3.5 and 15.4.0 versions

Hi,

Please, provide us with the Mercurial version you use. Do you have any Error message when you try to open the Last revision?

Yes, I get this error:

Error while getting the file revision from the repository.

Possible causes:
1. You have not pulled changes to your local repository.
2. File was removed or renamed in an earlier revision.
3. Review had been created before the file was committed to the repository.

But none of these hints help. It does not work with any file.
Mercurial version: 4.3.1

Hi,

This issue has been already fixed. We supported this HG version in the latest build, which will be released shortly.

Hi,

Can you tell which version of mercurial is supported then? Thanks.
