Active directory groups for managing access

Post by densaylor » Tue 26 May 2015 15:12

I'm looking for a way to add an Active Directory group to manage access for code reviews rather than adding individual users in the group. I didn't see anything in the documentation for this or under the "Active Directory" link for adding users. Please let me know how to accomplish this.

Review Assistant doesn't work with Active Directory groups. The only way is to type group name to the filter, hit 'Ctrl - A' to select all group members and add them all in one click.

Seems like a glaring omission to not allow AD groups. Seems that you're buying yourself more support work managing addition and deletion of users, and more dissatisfied developers when they join an AD group to get source access, but need to follow a different process to be able to do code reviews. I've opened a feature request asking to have this added.
