Ad hoc comments

Hi there,

In our company we are trying Review Assistant and I saw that it is possible to add ad hoc comments on code, even if a code review is not created.
There is currently a problem as not everyone can do that.
When adding ad hoc comments some colleagues get an error message stating that the file does not belong to the repository of the current project but if I try to add ad hoc comments on the same file I don't have any error.

What can this be?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

For adding Ad-Hoc or review comments, a file should be located in the "Working directory" folder of any repository, that belongs to an active Review Assistant Project.

Note, that the working directory path may vary for different PCs; If you change these settings, they will be stored only for the current Windows user.

Hi there,

Thanks for your fast reply.

In fact the path for the working directory was not correctly configured.
As I sent a small explanation to all of my colleagues to show how to configure Review Assistant I assumed it was all OK but in fact was not.

Once again, thank you.

Cheers,
Rui
