File comparison not detecting Windows/Unix line breaks differences

I am using the free latest version (5.3.231) of Code compare and was comparing files which were only different by the line breaks, one had Windows line breaks and the other one Unix ones. Despite having unchecked "ignore white spaces" and "ignore empty lines" in the options, Code compare didn't detect the files were different. When doing the binary comparison, the files were detected as different. I thought that a previous version had been able to detect them using the regular comparison but I might be wrong, maybe it was in WinMerge.

Max hi,

Please advise whether the Ignore Line Breaks option (
http://prntscr.com/rmbusr) is enabled or disabled at your end.
