V5.2.170
V5.2.170
The latest version seems to have stopped detecting changes to the files it's diffing. I often diff with previous from Visual Studio, then make changes to the code whilst viewing the diff, Code Compare used to prompt me when it got focus that the file had changed and do I want to reload.

Hi there!
Thank you for reaching out to us and informing about the issue you've faced.
Here's an article for reference: https://developercommunity.visualstudio ... rompt.html
Please enable 'Reload modified files unless there are unsaved changes' in Options --> Environment --> Documents.
Best regards,

Re: V5.2.170
I'm sorry for confusion.
You need to disable 'Reload modified files unless there are unsaved changes' in Options --> Environment --> Documents for a smooth workflow.
Have a nice weekend!

Re: V5.2.170
Sorry for the late reply, I didn't have notifications enabled.
I don't have Options -> Environment -> Documents, I've only got Environment -> General and Environment -> Keyboard. I'm using the free edition.
Actually, I've just seen this option is in Visual Studio. I don't have an issue with Visual Studio reloading, the issue is with DevArt Code Compare, I have VS configured to open the standalone version not the integrated version of Code Compare, and if I change the code in VS and Save, Code Compare used to show a dialog asking me if I want to reload, but this no longer happens.

Hi!
Please do the following:
1. Let me know the full version of the VS you use
2. Take the following screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/NSi8jFr (it's an example from the VS 2019).
Looking forward to your feedback.
Have a nice day!

Re: V5.2.170
Also, I consulted with the development team and have to ask:
3. What types of the files you use?
4. And, if possible, please record a screen video where we can see what behavior is in the regular editor and what one in Code Compare at your end.
You are welcome to send over the screenshots and the video to our support team via https://www.devart.com/company/contactform.html.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
