Re: C# Structural Code Comparison and Expression-Bodied Members
I've just bought code compare, and suddenly realized that it doesn't support latest C#.
I've made some investigation in obfuscated code of Code Compare. And found that Code Compare use NRefactory, which is not support latest C# (it even doesn't support C# 6). And NRefactory is not supported anymore. Change NRefactory on Roslyn (Microsoft.CodeAnalysis) should be really easy task.
I want to do it by myself until it will not be fixed. but I can't, and I don't want to modify dlls.
So do we still have any estimations? Or I should request my money back?

Hi,
We're waiting since 8 months now and still no release date.
As you have seen, the only answer at the moment is "It will be solved in the future"...

We are working over a new version of Code Compare that will include the improved comparison of C#. Meanwhile, we suggest you try the developer build: https://www.devart.com/pub/codecompare.exe

Re: C# Structural Code Comparison and Expression-Bodied Members
Tried out Code Compare for the first time today and thought it was broken. Luckily I found this post BUT I have to ask - When can we see an official version supporting the later versions of C#? We can't really go ahead with a purchase if our required functional is in a breakable "Beta" version.mstislavs wrote: ↑Mon 17 Sep 2018 10:17Thank you for your feedback. We plan to publish the new version next month (second part of November). A few days ago I updated the developer version, please try it because this version contains some important fixes for structural comparison.Teknologist wrote: ↑Thu 06 Sep 2018 19:42 When can we see an official version supporting the later versions of C#?

Any news with this? I really love CodeCompare, but I'm going to change to another tool, as it looks like the development of CodeCompare is stopped 8·(
