We tested Code Compare with Visual Studio 2013 with the 'Use map mode for vertical scroll bar' option turned on, and did not see any strangeness.

Can you provide us with the screenshot, showing the strangeness you see?

Seems like this forum don't really support uploading pictures (screenshots) so I uploaded one to dropbox:

By the way I also use Productivity Power Tools 2013 and several other plugins

At the scrollbar's left there is Navigation Map (8), where Code Compare marks comparison changes. In your case, the green mark means, that code was added at this point and it exists only at the right pane.

That was not not what I referred to

You might notice that the scoll button is not a standard button instead it is just a line at
top, left and bottom somewhat like a square C
it actually looks like left quater part only of a map mode scroll bar

Here are some more screenshots to help show the problem

We have installed ReSharper 8.2 to Visual Studio 2013.

Text editor with "Use map mode for vertical scroll bar" and ReSharper:

http://1drv.ms/1iZr3ln

Code Compare with "Use map mode for vertical scroll bar" and ReSharper:

http://1drv.ms/1iZrH2p

Code Compare without "Use map mode for vertical scroll bar" and ReSharper:

http://1drv.ms/1hUE6mX

So, we are still unable to reproduce the issue. What do we do wrong?
