I am trying to uninstall Code Compare v2.8.10. The program uninstalls without issue. I check the option to Reset code compare options during uninstall. Now when I launch visual studio (2012) I received the following error: "The 'Devart.CodeCompare.Ipc.Vs.VsCodeCompareIpcPackage' package did not load correctly." I'm guessing this is because I selected integrate with VS during installation. Why doesn't the uninstall remove this integration? How can I fix this issue?
Thanks,
Nick
Error after uninstalling Code Compare
Re: Error after uninstalling Code Compare
Hello. This situation is atypical. Try to install Code Compare with option "Integrate to Visual Studio" and then uninstall it. Close Visual Studio before installation and open it after uninstall is finished.

I tried that, and still same result. Are there manual uninstall instructions?
Thanks,

In Code Compare 3.0 we have fixed the issue. You can get it from: http://www.devart.com/codecompare/download.html
More about what we have done:

Re: Error after uninstalling Code Compare
Alexey,
I can confirm that this indeed fixes the issue. Thank you very much for the help. I've used CodeCompare for a long time because the builtin VS compare tool has sucked. I read that they have significantly improved it for 2012 and I wanted to give it a shot.
Thanks,
Nick
