Folder compare copying access denied

Anytime I try to do a copy action in a folder comparison to a mapped drive from a production server I get the following error:

The following problems occurred while executing the operation:
Error writing attributes of the file "mappedDriveLocation\fileName" (Access to the path 'mappedDriveLocation\fileName' is denied.).


EDIT:

I found this is only on files that were marked read-only. Would it be possible to get a confirmation and ability to overwrite?
