Blahblah.csproj file is not accessible error with TFS

Post by ukko » Wed 25 Aug 2010 16:55

Howdy,

I am trying to merge a Blahblah.csproj file from the Pending Changes window in TFS and VS 2010. TFS recognizes that I have to do the merge but when I hit the "Merge Changes in Merge Tool" button All I get is an info box from Code Compare saying that the file "Blahblah.csproj" is not accessible. This is not a problem with the normal merge tool.

I configured TFS to use CodeCompare with the directions from here: http://www.devart.com/codecompare/docs/

I cut and pasted the argument strings so there are no typos there.

Any help would be appreciated, I don't want ot have to merge this on my hand again.

Thanks!

The problem has been fixed; the fix will be included in the next build.
As a workaround you can specify an alternative merge tool for .sln and .*proj files.
