Hi, my company uses Borland XE2 at the moment. The dbexpress components are included in my compiler, however PostgreSQL is not an option for the component. I had to download the trial version to get this functionality. How can we get this functionality for XE2? I am under the impression it's supposed to be included in XE2. We are using Update 4 HotFix 1. Thank you

Hello,

Our dbExpress driver for PostgreSQL supports all Delphi versions including XE2; after installing both trial or licensed driver, it will be available in the TSQLConnection list of drivers

Ok thank you, but that didn't really answer my question. Is the dbexpress library for Postgres included in XE3/XE4 or do we need to pay for it?

Hello.

dbExpress drivers supplied with RAD Studio are developed by Embarcadero. Devart dbExpress driver for PostgreSQL is a separate product, it is not supplied with RAD Studio. To use Devart dbExpress driver for PostgreSQL, you have to buy it.
