Memory consumption

I'm using Devart dbExpress driver for PostgreSQL in a Delphi datasnap server application (as a Win2003 service). My doubt is why the memory (private bytes) allocated by the service always grows and doesn't decrease anymore (Even after a client disconnection the memory size doesn't decrease, just decreases - initial state - on a server restart)
