Upgrading, features removed?

Post by Freshboy » Tue 14 Jun 2022 15:24

Hi, I'm on an older version of standard edition SQL Complete (6.2.37) and was getting ready to renew my license so that I can upgrade to the newest build.

But when I look at the feature list, it appears that several features I currently rely on in the standard edition I'm using are listed as being only available in the professional edition. Specifically the ones I noticed were:
  • Grid Aggregates
  • Smart rename
  • Execution notifications
  • Navigation between COLUMNS and VALUES in the INSERT statement
  • Results Grid Data Visualizers
Is this correct, have you really removed this functionality from the Standard Edition? Is there a way for me to renew my subscription, without having to change my license?

Thanks for any help.
