Cannot Uninstall SQL Tools

Cannot Uninstall, from Windows Add/Remove, I get an error: A referral was returned from the server

Hi there,

Could you please provide a screenshot of the error? Also, please check if you have SSMS running while uninstallation? It could prevent you from removing our products.

SSMS is not running, its uninstalled.

Hi there,

Please be informed that the "a referral was returned from the server" error can occur when a user tries to run the application as an administrator if UAC (User Account Control) is enabled on the system.

Please try disabling User Account Control and repeat the uninstall process.

Hi all! I have the same issue with sql tools on Macbook M1. Please help me, how to uninstall all packages WITHOUT root?

Hi Jelly,

Kindly be informed that SQL tools are supported by Windows, unfortunately, there is no macOS support.
