can't see mapped network drive, can't connected to SQL Server in different domain

Post by lightboxer » Fri 12 Mar 2021 01:29

First time user here. Just installed dbForge for MSSQL and I found two issues:

1) I can only see my local drive and machines in the network, but I can't see any mapped network drives where I stored all my existing files.
2) I can't connect to SQL Server in different domain using my windows credential. I do have my windows credentials setup to bridge two domains. I created a SQL account and it doesn't work neither.

All these two issues do not exist with native SSMS.

Without these two issues resolved, this software is no use to me.

Help appreciated.

Are you running dbForge and SSMS with the same Windows user account and from the same PC?

You could try running dbForge with administrator permissions ('Run as Administrator' command).
