Feature Request - Confirm If No Where Clause

Post by danielh02 » Mon 09 Nov 2020 18:15

There is a plugin for SSMS ("SSMS Tools Pack") which has a feature which prompts the user before executing any DELETE or UPDATE code which does not include a WHERE clause. They call the feature "Accidental Data Destruction Protector" (scroll down a little):

This would be a very welcome feature to DbForge!!

Hello,

Thanks for the post.

The feature that you called as "Accidental Data Destruction Protector" is available in dbForge SQL Complete for SQL Server (SSMS and VS Add-in) product.

Best Regards.

Understood it is available as an add-on for SSMS, but I use dbForge Studio and would like to see it in that product.

Thanks.

dbForge Studio for SQL Server, v6.0 is currently on the regression testing stage. Among the new features, there will be included the majority of the features of dbForge SQL Complete that have been implemented this year including the Execution Warnings one.
