Uninstalled SQL Complete Trial. Debugger NO LOGER WORKS in v17.9

Hi,
I have two versions of SSMS installed on my machine. I added SQL Complete to both. The debugger was working in v17.9 before i installed it. Now i'm getting an error when i try to run it.
The error message says: "Unable to start the Transact-SQL debugger, could not connect to the Database Engine instance 'ssDEVdb'. Make sure ou have enabled the debugging firewall exceptions and are using a login that is a member of the sysadmin fixed server role. Click Help for more information."
I've never encountered this before. I also don't understand the problem.
