AWS RDS SQL Complete

When using SQL Complete on my local instance it's able to refresh my autocomplete cache. When connecting to my AWS RDS instance it's not able to. I'm assuming there's some sort of permissions that need to be granted in order for teh background refresh queries to execute. I can't find any documentation on what those permissions are. Does anyone know?
