How to stop the Query Profiler pane from showing up?

I have turned off the Query Profiler Mode but the Query Profiler pane keeps showing up every time I execute a query. The pane also has no close button. How does one make it not show up again??

You can right-click the 'Profiler' tab and select 'Hide' from the popup menu.
