List all databases for a Azure SQL Server

Post by structed » Wed 15 Nov 2017 16:27

When I connect to my Visual Studio LocalDB, I get all my databases listed.
However, if I connect to my Azure SQL Server, I it only shows master or the database I select.

How can I list all databases?

I am using dbForge Studio Express for SQL Server.

Update: Quite some time ago, we upgraded to Professional. Currently using the latest 5.7 release

Thank you for the reply.

We are planning to support this in one of the next product versions.

Is there any update on this feature? Currently using Studio Express 5.5.327. This is a major blocker for me now finally buying Professional

It's in our roadmap for the next product versions. Unfortunately, we still have no an estimated date for this.

Is it on the Roadmap fro the next major or minor product versions? Because if I buy now, my company is not inclined to pay full again after my first year just because I need this feature...

It should be fixed in the next minor version.

It's really a bummer. You support SQL Server 2019 but this super important feature to work with *any* SQL server database on Azure is not implemented yet.

Because of this, I currently have like 20 database connection entries in the database explorer to one single server. And we have multiple servers. Absolutely ridiculous...

Could you please at least remove the "Show all databases" checkbox for Azure SQL? To not let new users think they could do it...

We're now almost halfway into 2019.. Do you have a more concrete plan now as to when this is being implemented?

This is really an absolutely essential feature and I'm also waiting for this.
