source control tasks get latest is same as commit

Post by MNI » Thu 08 Sep 2016 12:45

When I right click and choose "source control tasks" - "Get Latest" on a database in SSMS I get the same window as I do if I click commit.
How do I then revert to a previous version and how do I revert to a much earlier version in case that is needed?

Thank you for the reply.

The main work with the Source Control feature goes through the source control manager. All the three commands ('Show Source Control Manager', 'Commit', 'Get latest') open the source control manager. The commit and get latest commands were added for convenience. They mark corresponding objects to execute in the manager right away.
