Unable to change User passwords?

Post by robains » Fri 20 May 2016 22:10

Under the security Manager, I have my user selected, but the "Password" and "Confirm Password" fields are grayed out?

If I use SSMS, I'm able to change user passwords ... so I'm a little puzzled at why dbForge doesn't allow the changing of user passwords?

Cheers, Rob.

Could you please provide us a screenshot displaying this in both SSMS and dbForge?

Please also specify what version of dbForge you are using.

Sorry, no I will not provide a screenshot of the security manager page in a public forum.

In SSMS I'm able to change user passwords, in dbForge security manager the password fields are grayed out and I'm NOT able to change them.

dbForge version is 5.1.178.
