Hello all,
in the tab of SQL1.sql the tool does not show the server where the query
will be executed. Is there a way to show it?
Thanks a lot.

I would also like to see that.
That way you can see which tabs are connected to which servers.
Currently, I have to click on each of them to see where they "go".

You can add a suggestion on our UserVoice forum where other users can vote for it http://devart.uservoice.com/forums/1770 ... sql-serverin the tab of SQL1.sql the tool does not show the server where the query

Please note that we have implemented the new feature allowing to change a connection's color. You can perform this as follows:I would also like to see that.

1. Right-click a connection in Database Explorer and select 'Modify Connection...' from the popup menu. The 'Database Connection Properties' dialog opens.
2. In the 'Document Category' drop-down menu, select the appropriate item or add a new one by clicking the three dots button against the drop-down menu.

I'm aware of that, but this is used for category (development, test, production). I have tens of production servers on which I connect daily, and they are all colored in red and named SQL.sql, SQL1.sql, SQL2.sql... not very usefull.alexa wrote: Please note that we have implemented the new feature allowing to change a connection's color. It should be something like SSMS has (or at least give us the option):
SQL1.SERVERNAME.DATABASENAME.sql.
Ofc, in this case multiline tabs are mandatory. But without it also multiline tabs should be added

I would very much like to add new ideas, because I have lot's of them, but I've used all my votes and ideas on suggestions page and I can't post any. So I'm pretty much helpless here.
Re: Show Server on Tab query
Thanks for a good suggestion! We're developing the next version (5.0) of dbForge Studio for SQL Server, and it's not a problem to include the feature in it.
