I am using dbForge Studio Express 3.0.248 and have found what seems to be a bug.
I have a large SELECT statement which contains some CASE statements. I selected a single CASE statement, then told dbForge Studio to 'Format Selection.' It formatted the current statement instead. It did this regardless of whether I used the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+K+F or the menu Edit | Advanced | Format Selection.
Let me know if you want screen shots.

"Format Selection" Bug
Re: "Format Selection" Bug
We have planned to change this functionality in the next version 4.0 of dbForge Studio for SQL Server since there is a number of users that have referred to us on this issue for another our product dbForge SQL Complete where such behaviour has been changed already http://devart.uservoice.com/forums/8789 ... actually-s
You can try the new formatting in dbForge SQL Complete, v4.5 http://www.devart.com/dbforge/sql/sqlco ... nload.html

Yes, I see / have used that functionality. SQL Complete 4.5 has been great, works very well. I've been spending time in dbForge because I like the code outlining feature, which is not available to me in SSMS 2008 R2. I look forward to the next version of dbForge!
