Hopefully someone can help with me with what must be a simple issue.

Periodically I cannot get the visual model designer for Entity Developer to display within VS2012.

It will work for weeks and then suddenly you double click the .hbml file in VS Solution Explorer and you just get the XML rather than the GUI. This always seems to happen a few days after I get informed there is a new version of Entity Developer released. Is it simply just to force me to update!!!?

I have probably missed something basic - but once this happens how to do I get the Model Designer to display again?

Please try right-clicking the model file (*.hbml) in Visual Studio and selecting "Open With..." from the shortcut menu. In the opened window select "Devart Entity Developer", click "Set as Default" and then "OK".
If this doesn't help, please specify the following details:
- the version and edition of Visual Studio;
- whether you have installed any other Devart products, e.g. LinqConnect;
- whether you have installed Entity Developer with the Visual Studio integration,etc.;
