Does the most recent version of Entity Developer work with the new Oracle Manager client driver included in the ODAC for 12c?

Please refer to
http://www.devart.com/entitydeveloper/c ... ility.html (Database Providers Support section):
Oracle:
- dotConnect for Oracle
OracleClient
Oracle Data Provider for .NET
Thus, you can use Oracle Data Provider for .NET.

I'm sorry I wasn't clear. I do know that the ODP.NET provider is fully supported as I have used it with older versions of ED. It's worked wonderfully to meet my needs. However, 12c introduced a new provider called the Oracle Managed Data Provider for .NET. This provider is 100% managed code, not dependent upon the OCI, and much, much smaller and easier to configure than the ODP.NET provide available for the OCI.
My question is, does entity developer support that provider as well as the providers listed for Oracle?

Thank you for your report. We will notify you when the Oracle Managed Data Provider for .NET support is added to Entity Developer.

New build of Entity Developer 5.7.412 is available for download!
It can be downloaded from
http://www.devart.com/entitydeveloper/download.html (trial version) or from Registered Users' Area (for users with active subscription only).
Oracle Managed Data Provider for .NET is supported starting from this version of Entity Developer.

I'm using Entity Developer version 5.8.720 but the ODP provider does not show up (only dotConnect). Are there any additional packages I need to install?

Please specify:
1) is your Entity Developer installed as a separate product or shipped with dotConnect or LinqConnect installation? If it is a separate product, tell us its
edition
2) the ORM framework (Entity Framework / NHibernate / LINQ to SQL / LinqConnect) you are creating a model for

1. We have bought the LinqConnect professional edition that comes with Entity Developer included (we own dotConnect as well). The Entity Developer version number is 5.8.720, LinqConnect version is 4.5.859.0, DotConnect version is 8.5.521.0.
2. We're creating LinqConnect model using POCO template
The plan is to use ODP.net as a provider instead of dotConnect (we need TransactionScope support without the Oracle client installation).
