Maximum Model Size?

Currently, what is the maximum practical model size for the designer? For the express version of Entity Developer?

The project I work on has a variety of EF models ranging from 300 to 2000 interconnected entities. I saw few 2010 threads with suggestions around 150-200 entities. Today's product comparison lists "Unlimited number of entities in model". I've also seen subsequent version history referencing enhancements for large model handling (2.5, 3.0, and 3.2).

There is no particular limitation. The model size depends on the complexity of the model: number of relations, columns, diagrams.

The Express Edition is limited to 10 entities in the project.
