Hi,

I'm evaluating ED and really like having the model designer in a separate window than VS. It makes it much easier to switch back and forth on two separate screens.

Question - If I'm not using the integrated ED components in VS, do I always need to check out the edml file before editing in the separate ED program, or is there any integration into version control systems from ED? I'm using Team Foundation Server.

The Team Foundation Server support is available for Entity Developer model files only when you are working with them via Visual Studio.
