OK - this is happening with alarming regularity and it's starting to get annoying now.

When I double click on my edml diagram (devart entity model) in the Solution Explorer (Visual Studio 2010) it keeps showing the xml markup (actually SSDL content) rather than the actual diagram model of my database!

I then have to keep deleting the edml model and then recreate a new one, and it's getting tedious.

Why is it doing this and how can I stop it doing this in future.

When the issue comes again, please follow the steps: right click on *.edml in Solution Explorer > Open With > select Entity Developer in the list, press the Set as Default button > OK.
