Step-through debugging for templates

Post by mscanlon@fs » Wed 20 Apr 2011 19:03

I have a medium size template that I have to adjust on a regular basis. I know how to capture syntax errors in my code, but whenever I get an error in the generation process I have a painful hunting process.

I have tried attaching a Visual Studio debugging process to Entity Developer, but that doesn't catch the errors. Is there any way to step through a script in debug mode?

Thank you for the suggestion. We are investigating the viability of adding some diagnostics capabilities for the code generation process.
I will let you know about the results of our investigation.
