Annotation Elements in Storage Model not preserved

Post by Nielss » Wed 23 Mar 2011 11:54

We are using annotation elements in the SSDL part of the Entity Data Model. See: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee705455.aspx. When a model is altered and saved in the Entity Developer the annotations and corresponding namespace are gone from the model :( .

Is this by design or is it a bug?

This functionality is already implemented. It will be available in the next version (not build). Follow the announcements at our forum.

The latest 3.50.116 Beta build of Entity Developer for SQL Server can be downloaded from here (the trial version) or from Registered Users' Area (provided that you have an active subscription).
It contains the Annotation attributes support.
