Entity Developer - Database Explorer - Invalid Objectname

Hello,

I am trying to model a SQL database (SQL Server 2008R2) using LinqConnect v.2.0.10.0 and Entity Developer v.3.0.65 in VisualStudio 2010.
The DatabaseConnection is configured well (test connection shows "OK") but when I try to list the tables or views or procedures in the Database Explorer, I always receive the error message

Invalid objectname 'MyDatabaseName.information_schema.TABLES'

The same same error occurs when trying to model this database direct in the standalone application EntityDeveloper.

Anybody who can help ?

Thanks in advance,
linus

Thank you for the report, we have reproduced the problem for databases with case-sensitive collation; please specify if this is the case. We will investigate this issue and inform you about the results as soon as possible.

Hi,

thanks for the quick response.

The collation selected in the database mentioned above is indeed
Latin1_General_CS_AS.
Thus, it is a case sensitive collation.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Regards,
linus
