Dear users,
Devart is delighted to introduce the release of Entity Developer 6.0 Beta with Telerik Data Access support.
Welcome a new visual ORM designer for Telerik Data Access - Entity Developer 6.0 Beta! The new version introduces support for the Telerik Data Access ORM, allowing users to visually design Telerik Data Access models and generate C# code for them.
Since Data Access Q2 2015, Telerik deprecated visual designer and Visual Studio tools for their ORM and offered users that need visual designer to stick to Q1 2015 version. However, with the new Entity Developer 6.0 version, Telerik Data Access users can work with their models visually again, while enjoying all the benefits of the latest Telerik Data Access versions.
Entity Developer offers all the necessary tools for visual creating Telerik Data Access models and generating code for context, entities, and fluent mapping. It supports import of existing Telerik Data Access visual designer models (*.rlinq) to make migration easier for Telerik Data Access users.
With a number of T4 templates for common use cases, it offers advanced code generation for Telerik Data Access, and offers lots of features that were not available in original Telerik Data Access visual designer: model refactoring, much more convenient visual editors, LINQ query execution against Telerik Data Access models, more enhanced model generation from the database, etc.
You can find more information about Telerik Data Access support in Entity Developer in our recent blog post.
You are welcome to download and evaluate the new version.
