LinqConnect and SF

Post by [email protected] » Fri 18 Oct 2013 04:51

Hello,
does the new version of LinqConnect for metro includes the Sync Framework new functionality of dotConnect? If not, are there any plans to incorporate it in the future?

Also, is it possible to use WCF as a data source? For example having db1 as a sql azure db in the cloud exposed via WCF and using LC for metro to create a model?

Cheers,

Alberto

Microsoft Sync Framework support is not available in LinqConnect for Metro at the moment. We will investigate the possibility to add this support and inform you about the results as soon as any are available.
And, unfortunately, it is impossible to use WCF as a data source with LinqConnect for Metro.
