bug with lower_case_table_names=2

Post by bryanc » Tue 24 Mar 2009 18:10

agh, i posted this back in december, and you still haven't fixed it:

DevArt folks;

When using mysql on windows, if you set the following variable:
lower_case_table_names=2

in the my.ini file, and then use the entity developer, none of the relationships get created properly, you just get a bunch of tables with no relations.

FYI.

Question for the rest of you developers using this product;

i'm evaluating the dotConnect for mySQL and i've been using it a total of 2 hours and have run into several issues already. are you guys having the same issues? has the dev team been fairly responsive in getting them fixed? this still feels very beta to me.

This problem is fixed in Entity Developer 2.0 Beta.

We plan to release one more dotConnect built with an old version of Entity Developer, and after that our builds will contain the release version of Entity Developer 2.0.

You should download dotConnect for MySQL 5.20.27 Beta, it contains Entity Developer for dotConnect.

how do i get the full version of that (i've purchased the full version of the non-beta)? i'm worried about it expiring before you release the full ver.
