Microsoft's SqlServer provider has built-in support for the HiLo algorithm:

Do offer something similar for Oracle? If not, have you ever considered adding support?

The investigation is in progress. An approximate timeframe for the feature is one month.

Unfortunately, this feature was not included in the version planned for release in the coming days and was postponed to the backlog. There is no timeframe at the moment.
