Microsoft is soon going to release Entity Framework 7.

Will Devart provide support for Oracle and other databases in EF7?

The EF7 support is on our roadmap. We will notify you when it is implemented.

Entity Framework Core (formerly, Entity Framework 7) is supported in the newest (9.0) version of dotConnect for Oracle: http://forums.devart.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=33571.

Any ETA for Entity Framework Core RC2 support?

Also, any plans to support dnxcore50 framework as well instead of just the full framework?

Our roadmap includes both EF Core RC2 and .NET Core. There is no timeframe for the features at the moment. We will notify you about the progress.

Guys please don't leave us in the dark with this. we appreciate your efforts to support this and respect the fact you are the first to do so but we need at least a date cause this is a showstopper for us for moving on.

Entity Framework Core RC2 is supported in dotConnect for Oracle in the newest (9.0.26) build: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=33730.

We are working on the .NET Core support at the moment.
