How can I connect to oracle on port > 10000?

Trying to generate model from database using Entity Data Model Designer (MS, not DevArt). When specifying connection to oracle I am selecting Direct mode and provide server, sid, userid, password, and port. When I am entering port > 10000 it is reset to 10000.

Tried creating empty model and then updating from db, but stuck in the same dialog.

Trying to test connection or connect (from connection setup dialog) with incorrect port ends up with VS2010 crash:

We have reproduced the problem with VS connection editor (Server Explorer and EDM Wizard). We will post here when it is fixed.

The bug with returning invalid connections to pool is fixed. We will post here when the corresponding build of dotConnect for Oracle is available for download.

The bug with setting Port connection string parameter in Visual Studio connection editor to the value that is greater than 10000 is fixed. We will post when the corresponding build of dotConnect for Oracle is available for download.

New build of dotConnect for Oracle 6.50.244 is available for download now!
