Post by papadi » Tue 23 Jun 2009 09:01

Hi!
Is there any page with a list of know limitations this provider has regarding the Entity Framework? Some feature(s) that I should expect not to work?
Thanks

The most of known limitations are similar to the one described in the following post:
http://www.devart.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=13258
These limitations are mostly associated with the fact that Entity Framework was developed over the SQL Server and
some peculiarities of other databases were not taken into account.
We have no limitation list. Please report us if you encounter any error, we will do our best to overcome it.

We are grateful for your good reference in the blog. Thanks to your annotations, the problem as for the inconvenient work with ref cursors will be resolved in the next build of dotConnect for Oracle. Also a tutorial concerning this topic will be available soon. The next build of Entity Developer will have convenient support of ref cursors.
