Getting started with entity Framework

Hello,
sorry for posting this general problem here.
But i don't get started with the entitiy framework , and so i can't evaluate your products.
On my PC , i've installed .net 3.5 spi and visual studio 2008 sp1.
But when i start a new project, there is no template for generating the edmx files.
It looks like there is a plugin missing ?!
Can anyone help me ?
