Kerberos ?

Post by bradk » Tue 06 Jun 2006 14:13

Is it possible to authenticate to Postgres 8.1 using Corelab 2.5 Enterprise Library Data Access block provider using Kerberos ?

If not, does anyone know if its possible to use encrypted sections in Enteprise Library 2.0 with an EXTERNAL configuration file(non-asp.net) ?

thanks

We do not currently support any encrypting techniques.

We do not support Kerberos authentication to PostgreSQL as well as others.

Consider this a feature request then. Or, please suggest a best practice for using your product in an enterprise Windows environment without integrated security.

We are not planning to support Kerberos authentication to PostgreSQL.
And we, unfortunately, cannot give you any advice, because this topic is beyond the scope of our support program.
