I installed version 2.40 of PostgreSQLDirect .NET for Visual Studio 2005 on Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition and Windows XP SP2 and in both cases the items in the PostgreSQLDirect tab are grayed out. I tried 2.50 - the same thing plus when the Visual Studion starts I get the error
"Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component.".
By the way, the README file says "Customize Toolbox..."("Add/Remove Items..."), instead of "Choose Items...", to register the items manually.

How can I troubleshoot that?

I guess I found the answer in another post. The toolbox items become active in a windows application view and I was creating a Web Site...
