VS2010 error during connection

Hello,
I have VS2010 installed on my computer. I just installed dotConnect for PostgreSQL 4.95. I launched Server Explorer inside VS.NET. I attempted to connect to a "test" database that I created. When I click Test Connection in Server Explorer, it works fine. When I click OK, I get the following error:

Unable to add data connection
Unspecified error (Exception for HRESULT: 0x80004005 (E_FAIL)

I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling dotConnect with no success. I then tried to connect to a MS Sql Server database, and this worked fine, so it appears there is something wrong with the dotConnect drivers.

Please advise what I should try next,
Thanks
Mark
