Hi, I'm new to the forum and new to using the dotConnect product with SQLite.
Can anyone tell me how soon after each SQLite release a corresponding dotConnect version can be expected? SQLite was recently released in version 3.7.11.
Best regards,
Lars
When will SQLite 3.7.11 be supported?

We will update the sqlite3.dll library, which is supplied with dotConnect for SQLite with the new version of dotConnect for SQLite.
If you can't wait until the new version of dotConnect is released, you can download sqlite3.dll 3.7.11 from the official SQLite site and place it to the system32 directory. However we recommend you to download the SQLite source code and to compile it with the [SQLITE_ENABLE_COLUMN_METADATA] compiler directive.

Can you say when?
Thanks for answering - I had already seen this reply to another post. But I still would like to know WHEN you expect to release the next version of dotConnect for SQLite.
Yoy see; I CAN wait, so I am primarily asking because I am new to the product and this forum, and want to learn - generally - how soon after each new releasae of the database you typically follow with a release of your product.
Knowing this is helpful for planning future releases of the product I am building myself. Thanks in advance for clarifying if possible.

Taking into account the fact that users of dotConnect for SQLite can use any version of sqlite3.dll with our provider, we do not guarantee updating the version of sqlite3.dll in the dotConnect for SQLite installation package immediately after it becomes available at http:///www.sqlite.org/ . But you can post here a corresponding request, and we will include it in the next build of our provider.
We are planning to release the new version of dotConnect for SQLite in a week.

Thanks for that clear answer. And it's OK by me; it just means that I should set things up to follow your advice about builing the DLL on my machine with the settings you recommend in order to have the latest SQLite release available immediately after each future release.
I'll wait for next week's release before setting it up.

Pre-built 3.7.11 is already available
Just had to add this to the thread in case others come along with the same questions.
There is already a pre-built DLL (in a ZIP file) compiled with the recommended setting available for download with every new release at the SQLite website.
So there's no need for setting anything up; just download it and copy it to the folders on your machine that currently contains the previous version of the DLL.
