UniDAC bug in v5.3.10 Stored Proc editor (Firebird)

Using:
+ Delphi XE2 Architect (with all updates applied),
+ Devart UniDAC 5.3.10 for XE2,
+ Windows 8.1 Professional,
+ Firebird 2.5.3 SuperServer running on same machine; Dialect 3 database; UTF Codepage;
+ UniDAC TUniConnection connection via TCP/IP, and using the correct Firebird client library DLL (fbclient.dll).

Click StoredProc Editor in context menu of TUniStoredProc component on form.

It shows an Assertion Failure error. Click OK.

It takes you to the Stored Procedure editor screen.

Where in this screen in earlier versions, you used to be able to edit the SQL text for invoking the stored procedure, in v5.3.10 the memo box for editing the SQL is read-only.

Hoping that you can fix this issue prior to release of the next version.

Best wishes,
Steve Faleiro

Hello,

we also have this problem using this environment:

Delphi XE6 upd 1
UniDAC 5.3.10
ASE server

Hope this fix also works for XE6 version and Sybase

The error you are describing doesn't depend on the used provider, so the answer is the same as our previous answer. We have already fixed this issue, the fix will be included in the next release. We are going to release UniDAC next week.
