Hello,

last week I had bought an update from 4.1 to 5.3.9... My first step was simple to install it over my v4. Starting Delphi and make a full compile was successful, then starting my software...

But with this version my programm was killed in different situations by windows without any feedback. No exception was thrown! I have tried to debug, but also in the debugger while i'm stepping the programm was killed and the debug session ends with no feedback This happens in situations which have nothing to do with UniDac...

Ok, I'm working within a virtual machine and can make a rollback to a snapshot, then testetd multiple things:

- Remove v4 manually and completly in the machine and then install v5, same!
- Install v5 over > problem, then install v4 over v5 > works

At the Moment I have no chance to use the new version, but I need this version urgently to fit a customer who has connect problems with his oracle database, because of this:

Can you support me with an older v5 version? At the moment I need to fix the oracle problems...

Delphi 2010, Windows 7 x64...

Try to create a small application demonstrating the problem and send it to us. Unfortunately, without reproducing the problem, we can't help you solve it.

if I could reproduce the problem, i would tell you where the bug is... But unfortunately this happens in different situations without any context to unidac or rather im not accessing unidac procedures...

Can you give me a link, as pm, where I can download a version in which the "oracle bug" is fixed? Hoping this version works for me, more I don't need at the moment. Please!!!

This fix was included to the UniDAC version 5.2.5. You can download the previous versions from our website secure.devart.com using the credentials you got when buying the product. The link to the previous versions is in the bottom of the current version page.
